Presentations

Ryan has the privilege of giving presentations to and/or consulting with a variety of faith-based organizations that are interested in furthering the work of justice. Often tailored to meet the specific needs of a community, presentations, workshops, focus groups, caucus conversations, virtual dialogues, prayer sessions, etc. take on a number of formats/modalities on a wide range of topics and themes.

A couple recent presentations include:

A presentation at the Religious Formation Conference’s Congress in the October 2019 titled New Media Culture: Profound Brokenness and Glorious Possibilities explored the cultural pitfalls of the new media terrain and possibilities for how faith communities can utilize new media in ways that inspire courageous hope and cultivate prophetic action.

A presentation at a Call To Action Conference explored the Holy Trinity as a Model and Method for Just Relationship, focusing on constitutive elements of unity in diversity, distinct yet equal, and ways trinitarian realities embody a community and progression of love and justice.

Other work includes consulting with organizations around:

engaging anti-racism work as a white male ally
mission effectiveness for faith-based institutions
fostering inclusive environments for LGBTQ faith and worship
emerging paths for spiritual reform and renewal in the Christian tradition
